“Keeping your vehicle clean not only protects your valuable vehicle investment, it also fosters a sense of pride and accomplishment,” said Rich White, the organization’s executive director. “It’s a task that takes very little money or effort, but has huge returns.”
With April being National Car Care Month, the council recommends:
• removing clutter inside, including the trunk, as extra weight decreases fuel efficiency;
• washing tires, wheels, underside and fenders to eliminate road salt; and
• paying attention to fenders and bumpers, which accumulate the most grime. —Gazette staff
