Stockyards City’s “Rodeo Opry” has ventured from the stage to your living room. KSBI-TV Channel 52 airs the country-music showcase in high-definition from 8 to 9 p.m. each Friday and Sunday, featuring both big-name talents and local up-and-comers.

“In years past, Oklahoma performers such as Jude & Jody, Bob Mills, Conway Twitty and others were featured on Oklahoma television,” said Vince Orza, KSBI president and CEO, in a press release. “The New KSBI TV is dedicated to bringing local Oklahoma entertainers back to television. ... This music is a grand tradition in Oklahoma.”

The local cable channel also airs “Oklahoma Live” at 1 p.m. each weekday, spotlighting local bands and singers. —Gazette Staff
