Book discussion features foodie fave ‘Homemade Life’


Food writer is an Oklahoma City native.

The “Let’s Talk About It,” the Oklahoma book discussion series at Oklahoma City University, continues with Molly Wizenberg’s “A Homemade Life.”

It is planned for 7 p.m., Oct. 25 in the Walker Center for Arts and Science, Room 151 at N. W. 26th and Florida Ave.

Wizenberg is a well-known food writer who spent her childhood in Oklahoma City. Readers will be welcomed into her family’s love of food, cooking and one another, complete with recipes. The series is funded by grants from the Oklahoma Humanities Council and the National Endowment for the Humanities.
