I’m appalled by the numbers from the Gaillardia addition. As the owner of a home with a small in-ground pool (11,000 gallons), I found that the largest user dumped the equivalent of an entire pool once every 30 hours for a year. Must be good to be rich.

What's equally tragic is that the amount of wasted water you're referring to could have hydrated thousands living in drought stricken Africa. The rich don't care about. I wonder if when Oklahoma's supplies are tapped if they will have even a shred of remorse for all the years of having a lush lawn. Assuming they're still wealthy, they will probably move to a place with water. While the poor will be left here to suffer. Class warefare?
