Elmo A-OK?

Carl Hall December 7th, 2011

Regarding “Death to Elmo?” (News, Clifton Adcock, Nov. 16, Gazette), which concerned a proposal to end state funding for OETA:

My wife emailed OETA to learn what the effect would be if OETA lost all state funding. Since they didn’t reply, I assume this means there would be no effect. Elmo is safe!

It'll probably have an effect, but it'll most likely be one the legislators weren't counting on.
