An unforced life

Clinton Wiles December 28th, 2011

Rev. Kern (Letters, Dec. 7, Gazette) holds that a legal requirement to treat all citizens as equals, with comparable opportunities to live, work, love, pass on property and share problems forces him to embrace the lifestyle of those of whom he disapproves.

So that he will have an unforced life, all he wants is to declare what constitutes science to be taught in the schools, define a group of citizens to be legally discriminated against, and bring our government in line with his interpretation of a book of disputed origins, purposes and contents.

Perhaps our society will be fortunate enough for him to be mired in controversy and frustration all of his days.
