In Latin, “octarium” means “eight as one.” All right, boring lesson over.

The Kansas-based vocal octet known as Octarium visits Oklahoma City Community College’s Bruce Owen Theater, 7777 S. May, at 7 p.m. Thursday, and you “octa” hear them sing. Their “Should Have Been Choral” show turns pop hits and other tunes into a capella arrangements. Tickets are $10-$22. Call 682-7576 or visit occc.edu/cas.
