You know the guy. In what’s considered one of the biggest classified information leaks in U.S. history, Manning is accused of sending thousands of classified military documents and information — including the so-called collateral murder video and thousands of diplomatic cables — to the website WikiLeaks.
Manning, who was arrested in Iraq in 2010 and is awaiting a military trial for the alleged leak, lived in Crescent as a child.

He has been praised by some for leaking the info, but heavily criticized by others, including a Nobel Peace Prize winner, President Barack Obama, who said Manning “broke the law.”
So, if Manning wins in October — admittedly a long shot — there will be a Nobel Peace Prize winner in charge of charging a Nobel Peace Prize winner for leaking classified information about unpopular wars and foreign affairs. Welcome to Bizzaro World.
