According to Gallup’s Job Creation Index, Oklahoma City has been ranked the nation’s top city for job creation. It’s about time the Sooner State made it to No. 1 for something that didn’t involve incarcerating women.
The index compared the hiring and layoff rates of the country’s 50 biggest metro areas.

This gave OKC a job creation score of 21, which is not only an 8-point increase from 2010, but 12 points higher than the national job creation score.
