These are the “it” salads of the city — fresh and fast. Definitely go for its sweet and spicy chicken wrap, the Asian shrimp salad, the Plaza Skinny salad or the chipotle-chicken-ranch wrap. There is speedy service when you place an order for its flash-fried edamame or the tempura fried green beans. Another good bet is to go for any of the sushi rolls, especially the Victory Doll served with ahi tuna, arugula and asparagus, miso and crispy wontons. Or, order the Pachinko Roll done with raw salmon.

Ingrid’s Kitchen
3701 N. Youngs

The hearty German food at this venerable eatery never disappoints. The restaurant has recently added live music most Friday and Saturday nights (no smoke), and the crowds have been coming out for it, but owner Lee Burrus says to call ahead to check. This place has been kept a secret long enough. The Reuben and sausages are terrific.
