It’s good to be a toddler in Tulsa. According to data collected by, parents in Tulsa spend 35 percent above the national average on their kids. For three years, the business website monitored spending by households with children at stores that sell toys, clothing and other services for kids. And Tulsa ranked No. 4 in the top-10 list, behind Minneapolis, Miami, Brooklyn and New York.

Does Trust-Fund Baby Jr. really need that to-scale oil derrick replica for his jungle gym? We think not.

Tulsans might love their children more than OKC parents, but at least we’ve still got God on our side. As CFN reported a couple of weeks ago, Oklahoma City is the third most religious city in the country.

So take that, you brat-bearing Tulsans!
