Same great menu as the Edmond place, but an additional location. Start with the fried pickles or ranchero salsa and chips. As for burgers, have it plain or get creative with the Maui Burger, which comes with grilled ham, cheese, pineapple-jalapeño relish and barbecue sauce. Skipping meat? Try the Tree Hugger. It has fresh spinach, carrots, mushrooms, sprouts, cucumbers and cheese.

Kenney’s Irish Pub
116 W. Harrison, Guthrie
365-4532
As if Guthrie isn’t cool enough already, now you can hang out in an Irish pub that features live performances from local talent, including, of course, traditional Irish tunes. Don’t forget about the booze and food. It’s not your typical pub grub, either. Of course it’s delicious and decadent, but you can also enjoy a no-meat Philly, complete with a side of colcannon, a traditional Irish potato-and-cabbage dish. Grab a whiskey sandwich or a corned beef sandwich, too.

It’s definitely not your average trip to the hibachi. All dishes are made with fresh ingredients, and some come out resembling works of art. It’s OK; Go ahead and eat it, anyway. If you want to skip the hibachi and try some rolls, don’t pass up the Earthquake, Golden Fantasy and Twin Towers. Finish up your meal with the great fried ice cream.

El Tapatio
1000 N.E. 63rd

If you’ve never had the pleasure of dining at this Tex-Mex casa, remedy that omission immediately. Known for its blanco queso and homemade tortillas, the rest of the menu is just as stellar. Try the quesadilla de camarones, filled with grilled shrimp, and the burrito Tapatio, stuffed with grilled pork tips.
