After the hurricane

A couple of OKC restaurants are raising funds today for victims of Sandy.

Gazette staff November 7th, 2012

In an effort to help those impacted by Superstorm Sandy, S&B Burger Joint, 20 N.W. Ninth and 5929 N. May, has partnered up with Iguana Mexican Grill, 9 N.W. Ninth and 6482 Avondale Drive, to donate a portion of today’s sales to the victims of that disaster.

S&B's Automobile Alley location on N.W. Ninth will host bands from noon to 8 p.m. Donations of bottled water, blankets and clothing will be accepted and then delivered to the American Red Cross.

Iguana will feature a “Well Wishes” specialty cocktail, and 100 percent of the sales from the drink will be donated.

The proceeds go to the Hurricane Sandy Disaster Relief.
