As first reported by TMZ.com, the lawsuit asserts that Brooks is “willing to lie to avoid paying his debts, and he revels in using his vast wealth and influence to crush anyone who Brooks believes is standing in the way of him getting what he wants.”
As a result of his alleged tornadic behavior (breach of contract, fraud, etc.), Sanderson is seeking $425,000 in unpaid bonuses, salary and punitive damages.
She also claims Brooks turned down a number of acting opportunities: one as a sniper in Steven Spielberg’s Saving Private Ryan; another, fittingly, a role in the 1996 blockbuster Twister.
His alleged reasoning? Because “the star of the film was the tornado and Brooks wanted to be the star.”
Whoever cast Twister made a big mistake, because an over-sized Garth Brooks rummaging through rural Oklahoma would have been much more terrifying.
