Want your little one to stay active this summer? Rocktown Climbing Gym offers weekly morning and afternoon sessions for children ages 6 to 15, with the cost being $145 per session. Campers get expert instruction on climbing safety, technique and a variety of climbing-related games and activities. Space is limited, and pre-registration is required.

Dress your child in his or her favorite superhero costume to go off and save the city. Camp sessions are separated by age and theater type. Each week, campers (ages 3-4, 5-7, 8-12) devise performances, practice techniques through games and activities, and learn performing arts in an atmosphere of creativity and imagination. Costs range from $100 to $450. Several discounts are available.

Your child can foster creativity through music, dance, visual arts, theater and even LEGO creations. Kids between the ages of 8 and 12 will choose a major and two additional areas of study. Games and cookouts are also part of the experience, along with a showcase for parents at the end of camp. Cost is $300 for one session, $575 for two and $850 for all three.
Thunder youth Basketball Camp
up! Boys and girls between the ages of 5 to 16 learn basketball
fundamentals and life lessons such as teamwork, sportsmanship and
respect. Campers receive an OKC Thunder T-shirt and a $10 voucher for
the Thunder Shop. Oh, and there’s always a chance — albeit not
guaranteed — that Thunder coaches and players could make an appearance.
Summer Adventure Camp

Participants learn basic paddling skills and water safety in racing kayaks, canoes and dragon boats, plus enjoy off-water activities such as the Sandridge Sky Trail, Youth Zone and Kayak Plunge. Half-day sessions cost $150 and full-day sessions are $300, with day passes for $65. Snacks and equipment are provided; campers just have to pack a lunch. Rowing camps are also available.

these and more. Cost per child is $250 for nonmembers and $235 for
museum members. Register for two or more kiddos and get a 10-percent
discount. Registration includes museum admission, all hands-on
activities and a T-shirt.

for a range of indoor and outdoor activities that includes a nature
study, zip line, fishing, hiking, tree swings, crafts, sing-alongs and

swim instruction with certified lifeguards and free swim, as well as
participate in art projects, sports and hobby activities. Campers can
bring their own vegetarian lunch Monday through Thursday or pre-order
