Corporate democracy isn’t viable

James Nimmo September 4th, 2013

Why, oh, why have so many Americans been hoodwinked by the gross idea that corporate democracy can be exported to countries that do not want it and don’t have the society to implement it?

Islamic countries are even more engrossed in religious superstition than the USA, a country where flag lapel pins are more important than clean

underwear and importuning for “God’s” blessings on the country conclude every speech by the President on down to city council meetings. The electoral system is stalemated in the USA by the best Congress that money can buy and a constipated president who is praised for his equanimity, another word for complaisance.

Thousands of American service members have been killed, and millions of returning veterans are suffering from unconscionable delay or even denial of decent medical and psychological care, all their lives irretrievably altered through manipulation, propaganda and false patriotism. Our government shells out money to the banks that feign distress when that money isn't re-cycled through the economic system like it was intended.

There is talk of serious reductions in social services such as food stamps, Social Security, Medicare and Medicaid and no serious objection from the Democratic Party, once known as the party of the people.

Civil liberties are curtailed regardless of what Obama, Clapper, and NSA will tell you, even as this posting will be cataloged in the bowels of the enormous NSA facility in Utah even before you read it. America has become a feudal stronghold for the 1% that owns the vast majority of the wealth and still we behave as if elections are effective.
