It started three years ago. Airwave audiences eager to "Get Stoned" are largely responsible for morphing Oklahoma City party-rock band Hinder into the world-touring, album- and ringtone-selling juggernaut it is today.

The beast is back. Armed with a new single, Hinder has trained the crosshairs on radio stations, and program directors already have been slain.

The song, "Use Me," was released July 15 to radio markets in Chicago, Detroit and Dallas, becoming the most-added song to alternative radio for two weeks, according to the band's publicist.

Power chords and stadium guitars lay the bed work for "Use Me," as singer Austin Winkler describes being "used" by a woman who "brings out his sick side" " not a thematic stretch for the metro five-piece.

"She's kind of cold, but yet she's hot on the outside / Last night got nasty and I'm still kind of tongue tied," Winkler sings in the track, which was released as a digital download on iTunes this past week, debuting at No. 8 on the site's rock chart.

Hinder, which spent the summer touring with 3 Doors Down and Staind, has set an Election Day release for "Take It to the Limit." The sophomore effort will be produced by Brian Howes, who produced and co-wrote "Extreme Behavior," the band's 2005 triple-platinum album.

Eager fans will have to wait until Nov. 4 to find out whether Cody Hanson, the band's drummer, takes it to the limit and actually hits the sticks on the new album or again defers to a studio drummer. "Joe Wertz
