For kids raised on "Rambo," "Rock Band" and Raven-Symoné, perhaps it's time to get a little Rome in their diet.

From noon to 4 p.m. Sunday, the Oklahoma City Museum of Art will join forces with the Ronald J. Norick Downtown Library for Roman Art from the Louvre Family Day. Held at both sites, the event ties to the museum's current "Roman Art from the Louvre" exhibit of 184 ancient artifacts.

At the museum, 415 Couch, kids can get mini-tours, embark on a scavenger hunt, dress up in togas, have their faces painted or do art activities. Free slices of Little Caesar's Pizza will be available from noon to 1 p.m., followed by a gladiator parade and a Roman play, courtesy of Oklahoma Children's Theatre. Storytelling and a puppet show follow, at 2 and 3 p.m, respectively.

A few steps away at the library, 300 Park Ave., face painting and video games will take place for the duration, with sculpting from 1 to 3 p.m. and mosaics from 2 to 4 p.m. Balcum Rancum's puppet show gets underway at 1:30 p.m., with OCT's Roman play at 2:15 p.m. and mythology storytelling from Michael Corley at 3 p.m.

All library activities are free. All museum activities are included in the cost of admission, which is $12 for adults, $10 for students and seniors, and free to members and children 5 and under.

For more information on the museum, call 236-3100; for the library, call 231-8650.
