State Rep. Sally Kern (R-Dist. 84) allowed Oklahoma Gazette to photograph the original Oklahoma Citizens' Proclamation for Morality, which was signed on July 2 and has drawn the attention of national and international media.

The document " containing a series of quotes from founding fathers and early American Christians; as well as a catalog of the country's sins, according to Kern, including divorce and homosexuality " bears the signatures of approximately 135 people who attended the public signing the state Capitol.

Kern's name is joined by:

fellow state legislator Mike Reynolds (R-Dist. 91); former state legislator and now director of the Oklahoma Council of Public Affairs, Forrest Claunch; and Charlie Meadows, director of the Oklahoma Conservative Political Action Committee.

The list features several pastors, including:

Paul Blair of Fairview Baptist Church in Edmond; Steve Kern, the husband of Sally Kern and pastor of Olivet Baptist Church; and Father Mark Wallace, rector of St. Andrew  Orthodox Church.

Many of the names are illegible or generic enough that identifying them is difficult. Some signers not associated with government or ministry are:

Clark Curry, an Edmond Allstate agent who is active in the John Birch Society; and Stephen Black, the director of First Stone Ministries, a ministry that seeks to change the sexual orientation of gays and lesbians.

An online petition is also available with more than 800 names for people who could not make the signing at the capitol."Greg Horton
