Harkins Bricktown Cinemas is giving kids the chance to see 10 movies this summer for only 50 cents each. The theater's "Summer Movie Fun" begins this week with "Curious George." With the purchase of a season pass for $5, kids can see a movie per week at 9:45 a.m. on whichever weekday they choose.

"The program provides a safe, fun and inexpensive way for parents and their children to spend time together during the summer," said Melissa Rich, director of "Summer Movie Fun" with Harkins Theatres.

In addition to providing an affordable way to escape blazing temperatures, "Summer Movie Fun" serves as a fund-raiser for local schools.
