There is nothing wrong with your television set. Do not attempt to adjust the picture. The complete run of the original " Outer Limits" really is available in one complete set!
Often mentioned in the same breath " if not quite as heated " as "The Twilight Zone," "The Outer Limits" is arguably TV's other great sci-fi anthology series of all time. Premiering in 1963, this two-season wonder is collected in a seven-disc set containing all 49 episodes.
For those who've never seen it " or fans wishing to relive its peaks " starting from the first may not be the most rewarding way to view it. Instead, try:"I, Robot," in which a robot is accused of murdering his creator. It's not based on the Isaac Asimov story, but look for Leonard Nimoy in an early role. "Soldier," whose tale of the titular person sent back in time strongly recalls the plot of the first "Terminator" film. "Controlled Experiment," an oddly comic episode in which a machine that can reverse, stop and speed up time is used and abused. "The Zanti Misfits," which are creepy insect beings with human-like faces that'll give you the heebie-jeebies.
No extras are included are the set, but take solace in the fact that having the cult fave in full " and at an economical price " is all the entertainment you need. Oh, sure, a featurette on the series history would be nice, but remember: They are controlling the transmission.
