OKC mayor makes Esquire's fall fashion issue

Our very own mayor graces the style pages of a leading men's magazine this month (pictured).

For its September issue, Esquire magazine caught up with Oklahoma City Mayor Mick Cornett in late June at the U.S. Conference of Mayors in Los Angeles. He and a few dozen other mayors were photographed and asked a few questions.

Cornett talked to Esquire about rebuilding OKC's inner-city schools and downtown buildings, and said the best thing to do in town was to row on the Oklahoma River.

Cornett was snapped wearing a olive- khaki suit, a bright blue tie and a crisp white shirt - straight collar, not button-down - mayoral without being too dour.
