The Dustbowl is back. That's a good thing. This Dustbowl is lot less "Grapes of Wrath"-y, and a lot more like a storm of awesomeness (the best kind of storm, in my opinion).
This is the third outing for the Dustbowl Arts Market
, which sweeps up Buchanan Street in Norman's Campus Corner area all day tomorrow.
I went last year for the first time and absolutely loved the market " and I went home with quite the haul. The eclectic vendors are a mix of cool, young crafters and unique finds " there was nary a bedazzled, leopard-print rayon shirt in sight (which I've had the displeasure of spotting at other markets that shall remain nameless).
Tomorrow's event will include 40 vendors (including art, jewelry, accessories and more), a kids' area and live music. The market opens at 10 a.m. and runs until 7 p.m., and music will run from 1-11 p.m.
If you haven't been before, you seriously need to check it out tomorrow. Dustbowl may be one of the newer markets in the metro, but it's definitely one of the best.
