The nearly empty room in my house has been leaving me notes to check this event out. I'll be out of town (poor Front Room will have to just wait another three years for the couch she so desperately wants), but you lovely people should all turn out for this.
Kirkland's, a home decor and gift shop, is opening its newest location in Belle Isle Station this weekend. To celebrate, interior designer J.L. Hill will be offering free one-on-one consultations Sept. 4-5. Each person gets about 10 minutes of face time with the designer, so come prepared with your questions, pictures and fabric swatches or paint chips.
The event will take place from 1-4 p.m. both Saturday and Sunday, and you aren't obligated to buy anything or sign over your firstborn or anything. Fun!
