Shop talk

Dulaney Flowers, a gorgeous flower shop in Nichols Hills Plaza that also stocks lovely gifts and home decor, is moving.

What does that mean for you and me? A sale. Yes.

Dulaney's moving sale equals 20 percent to 50 percent off on home decor, bath and body products and Halloween stuff. Get over to the store soon to check it all out before Dulaney makes the move to 7660 N. Western in October.

Bruno's is also still conducting its retirement sale. After more than 50 years in the furniture and decor business, Bruno's will be closing later this year. The massive, labyrinthine shop carries everything from contemporary and casual to tasseled and tufted. I may just have to stop in to finally " finally " buy a couch for my front living room.

And last, a new store, Heirloom Shoe. Oh. My. God. This place is fabulous. A small collection of seriously to-die-for heels, flats and boots are spread throughout the gorgeous shop on Western Avenue.

These are shoes I imagine wearing as I gleefully frolic through the cobbled streets of Florence with a hatbox slung over my arm. Lovely stuff. Be ready to pay the price for all this awesomeness, but it's worth it.
