I love this time of year. The weather is fantastic, I get to eat all the squash I can handle, and there are markets almost every weekend.
This weekend belongs to Mistletoe Market
, a three-day event put on by the Junior League of Oklahoma City. With more than 100 vendors spread out in the Travel and Transportation Building at State Fair Park, Mistletoe Market is a lot to take in, including everything from crazy, blinged-out decor and holiday decorations to some seriously pretty clothing. Seriously. I bought a wool shift dress there last year that I still get compliments on.
The market runs 10 a.m.-8 p.m. Friday, 10 a.m.-6 p.m. Saturday, and 11 a.m.-5 p.m. Sunday. Junior League uses the funds to run community programs throughout the year.
