Part clothing store, part art gallery, all indie-cool. Anty Shanty, 318 E. Main in Norman, is celebrating its grand opening Friday during the 2nd Friday Circuit of Art.
The new store is the baby of L.A. ex-pats Julia and Corey Gingerich, both bringing their expertise to this venture. Julia is a fashion designer and Corey is an indie-rock publicist. I’d say that qualifies them to bring the awesome.
The opening night party kicks off at 6 p.m. and goes until 11 p.m. with food, drinks and performances from local bands Chrome Pony, Brother Gruesome, Kite Flying Robot and Depth & Current.
