Guess who’s going to be in her “Deathly Hallows” T-shirt tonight? This girl (nerd).
The University of Central Oklahoma has apparently added Wish Fulfillment as a major, because they are making one nerd’s dreams come true by screening “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1” tonight in Plunkett Park.
Outside. Free. Preceded by a quidditch match.
Be still, my beating heart.
Let’s go over that one more time, shall we? This free, outdoor screening at Edmond’s Plunkett Park will kick off with UCO’s quidditch team playing a game prior to sundown. Then, apparently at 8:08 p.m., “HPATDH:P1” will start.
And just in case you guys can’t remember from the last time I had an “HP”-related heart attack, this is the one where my beloved Ron finally — finally! — makes a definitive move with Hermione, something I’d been waiting to see on screen for, oh, about a decade, which is a pretty long effing courtship, if you ask me (aaaand, breathe). No, but seriously: It was awesome.
I’m getting there extra-early (after locking my dignity safely in the car) to arrange my blankets, banners, picnic and “HP” paraphernalia. Join me, won’t you?
