Apparently it’s all cocktails, all the time over here, because I just learned about another great cocktail-heavy event tonight. Let me just say, there is absolutely nothing wrong with this.
From 6-8 p.m., Cafe do Brasil and Byron’s Liquor Warehouse will band together (deliciously) for the Cocktails & Calypso fundraiser to benefit Positive Tomorrows. The fundraiser, held at the colorful Cafe do Brasil, will feature a cocktail, beer and wine tasting; Brazilian-style appetizers; a silent auction; and calypso music.
Tickets are $35 and can be bought at the door. Positive Tomorrows, the beneficiary, is a nonprofit elementary school that caters to the unique needs of homeless children and families. See? We’re drinking because we care about the children.
