The typical homeowner in Oklahoma City brings an annual income of between $35,000 and $50,000 to that home, according to a recent survey conducted by The Media Audit. Among adults age 18 and older, 20.5 percent fall into that income level.

Even if “The King’s Speech” wins Best Picture at next month’s Academy Awards, the Oklahoma Film Critics Circle singled out “The Social Network” as its pick for the best motion picture of 2010. The organization also honored the Facebook biopic with three other awards, including Best Actor for Jesse Eisenberg.

A full-page Chesapeake Energy advertisement touted “Natural Gas is fueling Oklahoma’s future” with a large, full-color photo of the downtown OKC skyline sans Devon Energy’s $750 million, 50-story tower.
