Brandon Wertz
Ted Nugent’s recent comments at the National Rifle Association convention regarding President Obama (Chicken- Fried News, “Redneck rhapsody,” April 25, Oklahoma Gazette) have raised a valid question: At what point does a person’s free speech make him or her culpable in a murder?

Letters to the Editor

Brandon Wertz

WWJD?

Letters to the Editor

Brandon Wertz
In response to “Bah, humbug!” (Chicken-Fried News, Nov. 23, Gazette) in which U.S. Sen. Jim Inhofe claimed he would never attend Tulsa’s Holiday Parade of Lights because it nixes the word “Christmas,” I have to say, good for him.

Brandon Wertz
In the July 27 issue of the Gazette, Marty Morelli (“The right facts”) continues this attempt to excoriate progressives using the very same tactic that he originally used in his “Hitler was a progressive” diatribe on June 29.

Slipping Mickey

Letters to the Editor

Brandon Wertz
In the June 1 edition of the Gazette, Mickey McVay wrote a scathing letter (“Discouraging words”) implying that the negative names that liberals use to define conservatives detract from intelligent political conversation (a letter I rebuked in the June 15 issue with “The gospel according to a ‘liberal’”).

Brandon Wertz
Mickey McVay seems to think that liberals are the only ones throwing dirty words in the political ring.
