"Black & White - Black Tie Optional"

By limiting themselves almost exclusively to a black and white palette (with only the occasional hint of purposeful color), the artists at In Your Eye Gallery spent a month exploring the visual impact of tonal value: the crucial component of any strong composition. In the process, they created a striking, dramatic body of work ranging from rich, deep blacks to stark, bright whites in a variety of media: painting, mixed media, fiber art, photography, glass, and jewelry.
Thirteen artists represented in this show with thirteen distinct styles are; Andrea Kissinger, Carl Shortt, Jr., Chad Woolbright, Cindy Mason, Dana Powell, Diana J Smith, Gayle L. Curry, Janice Mathews-Gordon, Michelle Phillip Junkin, Natalie Friedman, Nicki Albright, Sue Hale, and Yun Hendricks.
