Summer Wine Art Gallery Invites the public to a Dea Scales demonstration
of her stark Black & White Landscapes - 20 January 2013

Dea Scales is an established, award winning Oklahoma artists who has studied with some of the best art teachers
that Oklahoma has to offer. Known for her abstract pastel skyscapes, she has recently turned her hand to acrylic
black & white landscapes. These artworks are stark, stunning and and evoke a very strong emotions in the viewer.

Framed in black floater frames, these square, gallery wrapped artworks display a unique 3d effect. Some seem to
have an alien aspect while others remind the viewer of an earlier, simpler time. 

Dea will demonstrate her technique in the gallery, Sunday, January 20th, 1 to 4 PM. Refreshments will be served,
the public is welcome.

The Summer Wine Art Gallery is owned by Jim and Linda Hiller.
