"The Tempest and Trial of Inman Page"

Oklahoma History Center, Oklahoma CityJoin us February 8, 2013, at 7pm as the Oklahoma History Center presents “The Tempest and Trial of Inman Page," written by Sharon Fisher and researched by Larry O’Dell. Admission is free!

Sharon Fisher is a member of the OHS Black Heritage Committee and has directed several OHS historical programs including “Swing Low Sweet Chariot”, “Oklahoma Bound” and the Oklahoma Centennial production, “New Chance Cities”. The Langston University Choir, directed by Bonita Franklin, will also perform.

This story brings a pivotal chapter in Langston University’s history alive.
The beloved Inman Page resigns to defend his reputation in court.
A murder plot against the new president is uncovered.
Will Langston University be a trade school or liberal arts college?

Featuring:
Robert Hubbard, Jr. as Inman Page, Reginold Smith as Attorney E. I. Saddler, Paul Thornton as “Alfalfa” Bill Murray, Keith Jacobs as the cunning Tribune newspaper reporter and a host of other cast members.
