Into the Void

Association opening reception: Friday, February 8; 7-9 pm
Into the Void is a student-curated printmaking exhibition
featuring works from the FJJMA permanent collection by artists such as
Victor Vasarely, Bridget Riley and Richard Anuskiewicz. The exhibition
is a sensory experience that encompasses the entire optical spectrum. It
is a modern ode to a few of the founding members of the Optical Art
movement. Into the Void is curated by students from the OU School
of Art and Art History: Andrea Duran, Laura Fortner, Alexa Healey,
Theresa Hultberg and Jessica Schlarb.
A guest lecture by the student curators will precede the Association
opening reception February 8 at 6 p.m. The Museum Association will host
the opening reception February 8 at 7 pm. Current Association members
and their guests are invited to attend the reception.
The exhibition opens to the public February 9.
