Into the Void

February 9 – July 28

Void

Association opening reception: Friday, February 8; 7-9 pm

Into the Void is a student-curated printmaking exhibition featuring works from the FJJMA permanent collection by artists such as Victor Vasarely, Bridget Riley and Richard Anuskiewicz. The exhibition is a sensory experience that encompasses the entire optical spectrum. It is a modern ode to a few of the founding members of the Optical Art movement. Into the Void is curated by students from the OU School of Art and Art History: Andrea Duran, Laura Fortner, Alexa Healey, Theresa Hultberg and Jessica Schlarb.

A guest lecture by the student curators will precede the Association opening reception February 8 at 6 p.m. The Museum Association will host the opening reception February 8 at 7 pm. Current Association members and their guests are invited to attend the reception.

The exhibition opens to the public February 9.
