Oklahoma Heritage Association’s Second Century presents “Gold • Glitz • Glamour”
OKLAHOMA CITY – The Oklahoma Heritage Association’s Second Century is excitedly planning Gold • Glitz • Glamour – a gala celebrating Oklahoma’s music accomplishments to benefit Oklahoma youth education programming – to be held on Feb. 10 at the Gaylord-Pickens Museum.
Gold • Glitz • Glamour aims to give guests the red carpet treatment with dynamic live music from the Groove Merchants, a silent auction featuring items from Oklahoma’s music and show business elite, and the Grammy Awards streaming live. In place of a seated dinner, guests will enjoy gourmet hors d’oeuvres by Cheever’s Catering and signature cocktails throughout the evening.
All proceeds benefit the Oklahoma Heritage Association’s youth education programming. The event will take place from 6:30 to 10:30 p.m.
The Second Century Board was designed to give young professionals the opportunity to influence the educational and social programming of the Oklahoma Heritage Association and Gaylord-Pickens Museum. The Second Century Board provides Second Century Members with access to influential Oklahomans through exclusive networking events.
“Second Century provides unparalleled access and opportunity to celebrate the history of those who built our state, to learn from pioneers of all backgrounds who are leading our state today,” said Brian Bush, Chairman of Second Century. “Gold • Glitz • Glamour is our chance to highlight Oklahoma’s contributions to the music industry while giving back to the Oklahoma Heritage Association’s inspiring mission of telling Oklahoma’s story through its people.”
