Lyric coloratura soprano Kelly Holst is an oratorio and concert singer whose operatic roles include Queen of the Night in Die Zauberflöte, Olympia in Les Contes d’Hoffmann, Adele in Die Fledermaus, Barbarina in Le nozze di Figaro, Zerlina in Don Giovanni, and Elizabeth Taylor in Jackie O. The winner of the Encouragement Award at the Metropolitan Opera National Council Regional Competition in St. Paul, she joined the Bass School of Music faculty in 2012. For her Oklahoma debut, Holst will perform selections by Vivaldi and Sartorio for soprano and harpsichord and John Tavener’s Akhmatova Songs for soprano and cello.
