Best for ages  7-10

$2 members; $5 nonmembers

Learn about this amazing drought-tolerant plant and how it got its unusual nickname. Hint: its Latin name means bashful. This little perennial grows right here in our Oklahoma fields and produces little round pink flowers. At the end of the class we will pot some seeds from the tiny, fuzzy pods so you can grow your own Mimosa pudica at home.
