Saturday May 04
Edmond Memorial High School volunteer club called Advocating Change Together (ACT) Club  are putting on a volunteer event benefiting a non profit organization called Maisha International that is based in Oklahoma City. Maisha supports a community in Kano, Kenya along with an orphanage. ACT Club is trying to raise money to buy bikes for 100 of the high school students living in the orphanage. These students have to walk four hours round trip to school each day and the bikes will help make their walk faster and safer. We are planning on raising the money through a 5K and family run to be held on May the 4th in Mitch Park.
