Bring your tools and we’ll sharpen them. Under the Bald Cypress by the Children’s Garden. Three tool limit. Free for members; $5 nonmembers

 

11-Noon               Seed Starting Basics:  Q&A and Demo

1-2:00              Sam Minick    Creating Better Soil

2-3:00              Container Gardening Demonstration

10-11:30          Fairy Gardens           Water Plaza Room

Join us and create your own whimsical fairy garden.  Container, soil, two plants and a wooden fairy arbor are included.  If you would like to personalize your garden please bring items that you feel would attract fairies!

Limited number of participants.  All ages welcome (can be a family project)

$20 Members; $25 nonmembers

Noon-1:30       Totally Terrariums    Water Plaza Room

Create a Miniature landscape in a glass container in this hands-on class.  Glass container, soil and plants will be provided. Best for ages 12 and up.

$35 members; $40 nonmembers

2-4:00              Bob Waldrop How to Permaculture Your Urban Lifestyle 

Water Plaza Room

Come learn about Permaculture, an ecological design system for sustainability in all aspects of human endeavor. It teaches us how build natural homes, grow our own food, restore diminished landscapes and ecosystems, catch rainwater, build communities and much more.
