Chorus of Sweet Adelines

None
7:30 p.m., Saturday June 15

The OK City Chorus of Sweet Adelines, an Allied Arts member agency, will hold its Annual Show at 7:30 pm on June 15 in Norman at the Donald Reynolds Auditorium.  A portion of the proceeds will be designated to benefit the victims of the Oklahoma tornadoes on May 19 & 20.  The OK City Chorus, a world medalist a cappella group of nearly one hundred women, has members from numerous Oklahoma towns including Moore.

Their special guest performer is Zing!, the 2010 International Quartet Champion who won their title at the Nashville international contest.

The final song of the program is “Oklahoma Rising”, written by Vince Gill for Oklahoma’s Centennial Celebration.  Only Gill, Horseshoe Road, and the OK City Chorus were granted rights to perform the piece and the OK City Chorus rendition was commissioned through the Sweet Adelines International organization.

For tickets and information, got to www.okcity.org or call 405-720-SING(7464).
