An anti-drug and alcohol committee at Oklahoma City University will host Sober Weekend with a variety of events on campus in an effort to provide prevention, education and awareness of the dangers of drug and alcohol abuse. The 48-hour event will begin with a presentation by Jim Riley, a former NFL player who now directs a non-profit agency dedicated to helping people recover from addictions. Riley will speak at 1 p.m. Sept. 27 in the Henry J. Freede Wellness and Activity Center at N.W. 27th Street and Florida Avenue. It is free to the public.
