Dual threads of the story interweave and tangle amidst a dark 18th-century England.  Coram Boy is a tale of two orphans at the Coram Hospital for Deserted Children: Toby, saved from an African slave ship and Aaron, the abandoned son of the heir to a great estate. It is also a tale of fathers and sons as Alexander, the son of a wealthy landowner, struggles to pursue his passion for his music and as Meshack, raised in poverty and abuse, struggles for love and acceptance .  This epic melodrama is an adventure filled with danger and excitement, multiple scenes that tumble out in uninterrupted flowfull of dastardly villains, cold-hearted aristocrats, devoted friends and passionate lovers, set against a background of cruelty, human trafficking, music and murder. This production has been rated PG-13 due to adult themes.
