Habitat: Designs of Dwelling Spaces for Animals

None
Friday December 06

“In the beginning of the fall semester, each student was randomly assigned a client, which so happened to be an animal of various size and type,” explained assistant professor of design Kevin Steiner, M.F.A.

Students were required to research their “client,” develop a personality and reality for it, as well as study its likes, dislikes, eating habits, living conditions and activities, while simultaneously learning the fundamental knowledge of interior design.

Students then developed a space plan for an apartment, utilizing their research while still adhering to standards of interior design.
