Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow: The Art of Social Commentary

None
Wednesday January 15

Each artist was assigned one year between 1810 and 1843 to create a print of a specific event that year or an overview of that entire year. The collection is an amazing variety of prints that are satirical, serious or humorous.

These works vividly address complex problems and issues in recent American history, culture, and society. They also serve as a springboard for confronting issues that continue to face America today.
