The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas

None
2:00 p.m., Sunday February 16
The play is set in Gilbert, Texas which lies about 90 miles west of Houston. This little country burg has been home to the “Chicken Ranch” for about 100 years. This is not news to anyone except maybe “a couple of tourists and all Texans still taking their suppers out of high chairs. Why, half of the police officers and two thirds of the lawyers in the state of Texas grew up right in this house.” But when “The Watchdog,” Melvin P. Thorpe, gets wind of this information, he turns his attention and his television cameras to this very spot, and the peaceful coexistence between the town of Gilbert and the Chicken Ranch begins to unravel.
