Red Bud Brass Ensemble

None
7:30 p.m., Tuesday February 11

This concert is a part of the Faculty Artist Concert Series, a yearlong performance series that highlights the talents of Central music faculty members.  All performances take place on Tuesdays at 7:30 p.m. at the Jazz Lab with proceeds supporting scholarships and the UCO School of Music.

The Red Bud Brass Ensemble consists of trumpeter Ryan Sharp, D.M.A., trumpeter Brian Lamb, D.M.A., French horn player Peggy Moran, D.M., trombonist Jeff Kidwell, and bass trombonist Wayne Clark, D.M.A.

“The Red Bud Brass Ensemble originated from the shared passion my colleagues and I have for music and a good time,” said Sharp.

According to Sharp, this concert will consist of an eclectic mix of tunes, ranging from 19th century Russian composer Victor Vladimirovich Ewald to “West Side Story” composer Leonard Bernstein to rock legends Steven Tyler and The Beatles.
