3rd Annual Contest Powwow

The Rose State College American Indian Association will hold its Third Annual Rose State College Contest Powwow, Saturday, April 19th, from 1-11 p.m. on the campus near Interstate 40 and Hudiburg Drive. Admission is free. Registration begins at 2 p.m.

            

The event features Gourd Dancing, the Free Traditional Powwow Dinner, a Grand Entry and Closing Ceremonies, as well as Native American food and crafts. Native American artisans will display and sell their works.  Attendees are encouraged to bring a chair. The Student Center will be made available in case of rain.

Arts & crafts booths available for $25 or donated item of equal value, no gift cards accepted. One 8 ft. table and two chairs will be provided by Rose State. If you need additional tables, please provide them. Selection of vendor space is on a first-come, first-serve basis.
