Lawyers in the Library

None
5:30 p.m., Thursday May 15

Knowing the law can be intimidating for most people, and hiring a lawyer is often expensive. That’s why the Downtown Library, 300 Park Ave., is hosting Lawyers in the Library.

Lawyers will be available to give free legal advice and referrals. Consultations will be limited to 15 minutes, and are offered on a first come, first served basis. Question and answer sessions are also provided.

”The lawyers volunteer their time and provide a needed outreach to the community,” Downtown Librarian, Harry Hoang. Creditable, free legal advice is hard to find, but we are making it easier.”

On May 8 at 5:30PM, law professionals with the Oklahoma County Bar Association will be available to answer your legal questions, and help you determine what resources are available for your unique situation.

On May 13 at 5:30PM, Marriage & Divorce legal resources will be offered.

On May 15 at 5:30PM, lawyers will talk about legal rules regarding Guardianship of Minors. They will provide a question and answer session following their talk.

Stop by the Downtown library to take advantage of these free legal advice sessions and get your legal questions answered.
